Tuffy the Tugboat

 Tugboats have used their brute strength to maneuver our big boat in harbors all over the world.

Six sea days begin today as we cross the Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea to Alaska.

Regent Seven Seas Mariner has been our home for nearly five months.  Service and dining have both been outstanding.  This ship is showing its age, especially in our stateroom.  The carpet and furnishings in our stateroom are worn albeit clean and cozy.  Most importantly, the bed is supportive and comfortable.  Everything works well except the heating system in our suite has required repair multiple times.  Live shows are performed every night.  We rise early in the mornings so we have attended very few 9:30 shows.  On board activities are plentiful but we don't join in as we prefer to read and spend time with each other when we're at sea.  Dining is exceptional and a test of will power with a variety of choices along with daily chef specials and bottomless wine glasses.  The wine provided is not premium but very good.  We utilize the fitness center frequently which is clean and ok.  The coffee shop has poured us many commendable cappuccinos.  Our visits to the onboard physician have exceeded our expectations.

We highly recommend Regent Cruise Line and have heard their newer ships are splendid.

Rod Stewart wrote and sang, You're In My Heart;

My love for you is immeasurable
My respect for you immense
You're ageless, timeless, lace and fineness
You're beauty and elegance

You're a rhapsody, a comedy
You're a symphony and a play
You're every love song ever written
But honey, what do you see in me?

You're in my heart, you're in my soul
You'll be my breath should I grow old
You are my lover, you're my best friend
You're in my soul
