Lasagna onboard our ship in Sette Mari restaurant.

The cuisine served onboard our ship has been excellent with a professional and attentive wait staff.  This lasagna was good but lacked love which made me think about Ruth Ann's sister, Donna Jean.  Donna Jean makes the best lasagna in the world with its tender noodles, thick red sauce and two types of cheese.  Her dish is accompanied by pepperoni rolls and a slice of the best pie, most could only dream about.  Donna Jean's secret ingredient in all her meal preparations is love.  She has nurtured her family most of her life with food that brought loved ones together resulting in good conversation and laughter while making memories in the process.  Her kitchen is warm and inviting and a signature of her soul.  Isn't that what we all want in our family gatherings?

Rob Thomas sang in Little Wonders;

Our lives are madeIn these small hoursThese little wondersThese twists and turns of fateTime falls awayBut these small hoursThese small hoursStill remain
