Last day in Australia

Sacred water hole at Uluru which always has water even during drought in the desert.  How many times can a person visit one rock?  Well, it is a BIG rock with several different entrance points and a variety of sites to see.

Ghost Gum trees that illuminate from the moonlight to help natives find their way at night.

Adolescent Desert Oak tree which spends its first 50-70 years of life growing underground searching for water.

Mature Desert Oak tree which is 700-800 years old.

Fresh Bush Bread with olive oil and crushed wattelseed from the Australian Acacia .

Our time is Australia has been fascinating, especially the overland expedition to Uluru.  Australia has only 26 million people with great diversity, education and healthcare.  It is a progressive government and seems to be the land of opportunity.

  1. What an amazing adventure! How many times do you think that tree has been hugged in its 700-800 years? 🤔
