Luggage will be shipped tomorrow.  Is this enough clothes and shoes for five months?  Mama says no, we need one more bag for shoes,👠👠  iI   Clear out a drawer, clear out a shelf I wouldn't wanna do it with anybody else as sung by Kelsea Ballerini.

 It is now one month until we embark on our five month adventure.  We have been planning this journey for more than two years and now it has become much more real.  There are many details to complete prior to our departure.  We are looking forward to this with both anticipation and a bit of anxiety.  As Frankie Ford sang, “So be my guest, you got nothin’ to lose.  Won’t ya let me take you on a sea cruise?”

 November 7, 2024 It is two months from the eve of embarkation on our world cruise.  We have made lists and made arrangements for house sitting and care of our cat, Chef.  This time will pass quickly.  I was asked, "Aren't you afraid you'll get homesick?"  I know we'll get homesick.  We will miss our family (Marji, Mike, Grace, Caroline, Justin and Kavita), our cat, our home, our friends and I will miss my band (Frank, Tuck, Bob, Tim and Charis).  As with our marriage of 51 years, we'll lean on each other to work through it- As Al Green sang, “whether times are good or bad, happy or sad”.
